Five years ago, Phoenix and I met up for the third time and decided to try it for keeps. Perhaps we both have luck in 3s or perhaps we’d both just grown up enough and lived our own separate lives enough, had enough of our own adventures and other people, patched up the shadows and worked out the kinks, to realize a good thing when it was right in front of us. And so, we moved in together and then we took the plunge and got married.
July 7th will be our four year anniversary, five together…and we met TWELVE years ago! I can’t believe that! It doesn’t seem like that long ago to me.
We’re going on a little trip all to ourselves this week, to Logan, the scene of one of our first dates and also where we got married, in the canyon ;0) We’ve made it nearly half a decade now. Go TEAM!
